what is good about these five fitness tools?
These five fitness tools all have different functions so there is a lot of variety in exercises, this variation ensures that different muscle groups will be trained in your workouts, therefore the results can also be observed on different body parts and not just one.
is gym equipment necessary?
In my fitness journey, i found out that good gym equipment is necessary, maybe you think:” why do i need gym equipment to grow my muscles if i can do simple bodyweight exercises like push-ups and sit-ups for the same result?” that’s a great question and it is almost correct but not complete.
You can do bodyweight exercises like i did at the start of my fitness journey, but the progress will be quite minimal for the amount of effort you have to put into it. Because these exercises are somewhat superficial. With these types of exercises, it is hard to isolate certain muscle groups.
Of course, you will see some progression when you do bodyweight exercises because your body is receiving new training stimuli that you have not had before. When you use equipment your progress will be way better and you will make more progress in a shorter time span. Because it allows you to target your muscles better.
With equipment, you can also choose the load of your exercises. In this way, you can increase the weight of the lifts as you get stronger over time. In this way, you can create linear progression which is what you are looking for if you want to become the best version of yourself. So if you ask me (and most other people in the industry), fitness equipment is necessary if you want to become the best version of yourself.
